Winter Moth / Gypsy Moth Treatment
2 APPLICATIONS (april-june)
Winter Moths and Gypsy Moth populations have been declining the past few years due to a entomophaga fungus becoming more widespread in our area, as a result of appropriate weather conditions. Spinosad is used to treat these pests, which is derived from a fermentation process involving mushrooms. Spinosad is also used to treat head lice in people, dogs, and cats. Horticultural Oil is used as the first application in the early spring to smother eggs left by winter moths.
Rodent Control
bait traps installed & monitored bi-monthly
Bait traps will be filled with rodenticide to poison nearby populations of mice and rats. Effective strategy, however, can also be poisonous to nearby wildlife such as stray cats, small dogs, etc. if ingested. Organic methods to deter rodents also offered and recommended rather than rodenticide.

Winter Anti-Desiccant Sprays
2 APPLICATIONs (NOVEMBER & JANUARY)
A waxy film sprayed on evergreens twice in the winter to avoid water loss via desiccation (wind). Some winters, depending on weather only one treatment needed for effective results. During periods of severe winds in the winter, stomata located on the surface of the foliage are forced to open further, resulting in significant water loss leading to drought like stress.
